Food is fabulous. Counselors not much help. Clinical director is power hungry. Nursing is good. Techs are friendly. Some run groups better than counselors, some are poor. Bring plenty of cigarettes. Can't buy here.
Tech's, counselor's, nurse's and every other employee there go out of there way to make sure were alright. Safe property. I would recommend to anyone struggling with food
This place helped me to save my life. My counselor Don was the greatest along with pastor Doug. You have to be willing to do the work..I have 2 yrs sober since I left pmrc and Im going next month for alumni day...and the food is awesome too
Strength , Hope, They gave me my Life Back! Awesome Place to Start your Journey!
This place SAVED MY LIFE! I would go back and do it ALL AGAIN if I needed too! Best experience of my adult life caught in addition. It was my first recovery center and hope to be my last. If I ever had problems in the future or know someone who does I know were to ask for help! Thank you so MUCH PMRC for changing my life .
This place helped me so much. They have recovering addicts there to teach and guide you the right way. I highly recommend this place.
I was a patient here. Matt Taylor was incredible. So were most of the counseling staff. Very 12 step focused. Counselors were very warm and down to Earth. There was definitely love here. Some of the older techs were incredible. Some of the younger techs however, should never have been employed there. They were extremely unethical. Great food. TONS OF DOWNTIME which I think is harmful to sick minds. A few of the nurses were terribly unprofessional. One nurse blasted rap music every evening during vitals. The rap songs were focused on the selling of drugs and sex. I am grateful that I had a place to go on such short notice. Some of the people there really helped me.
My son went here and I must say they were excellent. Obviously the patient must be willing to want to get well. The day is very structured and the staff is very friendly. However , i didnt give 5 stars because my son really needed a psychiatrist. When it is more mental then drugs/alcohol this isnt the right place , but I must say it definately was a start and eye opener for my son and they work with you as far as the cost.
Wife went there helped her get better. But she did everything possible to get better.
My son has been to PMRC two times. It is a great program. They work with you. They pick you up and drop you off at home.
I have been working in the addiction field for many years, and as an addiction professional I feel 100% comfortable referring people to this program. They have an excellent staff, and top notch amenities. Anyone seeking help for drug and alcohol addiction can find amazing help here!!
Very personable and intimate. Every staff member care about myself and every individual that attended. Best strength in my opinion is. They call every 30 days when you get out for 3 months, then once every 60 days and so on for about a year or a year and a half. I became very close with the staff. Now I have two years clean with the guidance and support of this facility. Gorgeous setting in the mountains and gorgeous caring souls. Downfall: In northern pa... Very cold in the winter. Aside from that. None at all. Fantastic during the summer. Always a shoulder to cry on, security on campus at night, trips out to go bowling and what not on weekends. So extremely loving and caring. The food is by far the best food I've had in any, out of 10, facility. So extremely loving and caring.
