The staff is wonderful! I wouldn't suggest any other place. My son's counselor is amazing! Love her, she's a tough cookie and that's what he needs.

I have to say I went by the reviews when I looked this place up for the first time. I was very concerned for my family member based on the reviews. However, for my family member and myself, our experience was nothing like I had expected. Hillside was a very good program for my addicted loved one. They did not medicate him with numerous medications like previous rehab centers have done in the past. I actually got to see a very positive change in my family member that I haven't seen for years. The rehab also includes the family in the addicts care plan. Counselor Val really helped my family member unlike any counselor has ever done. She encourages addict's families to take care of themselves which is so hard to do, but necessary. She does not sugar coat anything, and tells it like it needs to be told. Also if Val does not agree with the addicts discharge plan, she will definitely voice her opinion as to why it isn't a good choice, and she will find other options. Val truly takes her job to heart. I believe that if we had more counselors like Val, so many more addicts would be helped. She is a wonderful and essential counselor for Hillside in East Stroudsburg. I would definitely recommend this rehab for your addicted loved one.

This has been one of the best recovery facilities I've ever sent my daughter to. Amazing Staff, Clean, Caring, and they fight for you or your loved one. I've been referring Hillside to anyone who is suffering mental illnesses and substance abuse. By the way, my daughter was very resistant but is now happy and healthy. She needed the long program which her counselor fought for. I don't think I ever thanked anyone! So here it is, a giant Thank You for all of your hard work, Even though the patient must do work as well. Love to all of you Angels!

The long term program there has helped me grow so much. I have been to 8 other treatment centers and I learned more here than from most of the other places. The staff here is seriously amazing. They truly care and are invested in you. I would recommend this place!

Only rehab I've ever been to and it was very worth it. would recommend Hillside to anyone. Staff are caring , compassionate, and encouraging and some of the nicest people I've ever met. They all go above and beyond there. Thank You all so much!

They were great. I'd recommend Hillside to anyone. The staff is wonderful and the place is very well kept. Clean rooms and good food. Great staff, everyone was so supportive and kind. Thank God for this place!!!
